Me 04:22
I’m lost between the wrong and right Fighting same old voices in my mind They say that I’m a looser, but please don’t be confused There is no game of win or loose Don’t touch me, don’t judge me I’m human, but not like you I’m not the walking cliché I’m real, I’m true And I can never be lonely Just hate me or adore me Don’t try to push me around Or my fist will help you reach the ground! Chorus: Seems like my life is sort of fairytale Not playing superhero. No! I’m not the one Although my life’s full of bitter and sorrow I’m always trying to have some fun I just want to be me I just want to be free I just want to be me and free I’m lost between the wrong and the right Fighting same old demons in my mind They say: my dear, believe it or not, you always get what you deserve The key was thrown straight after the door was locked I can never be lonely Just hate me or adore me Don’t try to push me around Or my fist will help you reach the ground! Don’t touch me, don’t judge me I’m human, but not like you I’m not the walking cliché I’m real, I’m true Chorus: Seems like my life is sort of fairytale Not playing superhero. No! I’m not the one Although my life’s full of bitter and sorrow I’m always trying to have some fun I just want to be me (You can make me feel) I just want to be free (You can make me feel) I just want to be me and free (You can make me feel – younger again!)

Hate 03:40
He woke up early in the morning With tones of dead thoughts running through his skull. This new day will bring absolutely nothing, same as the last one. So, he is taking a towel, And he is going to the bathroom looking at the mirror But the mirror is spitting to his face. He feels something grows at the depths of his heart: The feeling that defeats human race. Hate! What a moronic word! But this word has built our modern world! Our modern world?! I hate to say it but hate is the feeling that we've created! He hates: "Nine to five" working, taxes & depression, Offensive yelling of his boss, the irony in the eyes of his neighbors And the barking of their fat & stupid dog! And no one understands why it happens to him, Why he has got to live in hate? See, he was "smart" enough to realize he’s not a loser, But he always blames somebody else for his mistakes Hate! What a moronic word! But this word has built our modern world! Our modern world?! I hate to say it but hate is the feeling that we've created!

Dive with Me 05:20
Horrible vision, bad decision, You're once again behind the trust. Hope is dying sadly smiling Reflecting visions from the past Hope is dying, you're justifying That your worst nightmare did came true Horrible vision, bad decision, You have to handle all those things you're going through Chorus: Don’t take the blame or wear robe of shame You're half man that you can be Don't afraid to get closer to the ocean of emotion So take my hand and dive with me. Useless living, screaming deads Wounded bodies, cut of heads. Who was first, became the last No one can escape this path. Chorus: Don’t take the blame or wear robe of shame You're half man that you can be Don't afraid to get closer to the ocean of emotion So take my hand and dive with me. C-part: Water, water polish sand Take us to the Promised Land. Drops of blood became thy wine Opened eyes No one's blind

Verse I: You always try to be so smart But couldn’t break my heart with your tears, tears It’s almost a decade since you are gone Thanks god there’s no slot in my heart for any fears, fears Chorus: Nothing will resurrect the dead old tree In the great desert of sensuality And if you spent your life in vein Nothing left but the pain Verse II: It was written in the books No matter how you try there’s nowhere for you to hide, hide The trampled down flower of youth I wish I could stay here by your side, side. Chorus: Nothing will resurrect the dead old tree In the great desert of sensuality And if you spent your life in vein Nothing left but the pain

Nothing 03:47
Have you ever tried to find a familiar face in a crowd of strangers? Have you ever looked in the mirror, hoping to see there someone else? Ever tried to catch a song, slipping through your trembling fingers? Ever craved to shout “I love you”, even though no one cares? Chorus: Find your face, find yourself Clear the doubts of who you are Wash your tears in morning rain Before you’ll be hopelessly gone Ever found yourself alone in a bar, asking “What am I doing here”? Ever faked a wooden smile beyond anger fences? Have you ever masked your hate under the cover of cold fear? Have you tried so many expressions, that left you completely faceless?

about

“The Darkest Hour”
This EP is a milestone to mark Fatum Aeternum’s persuasion of the doom and gothic path, reflected in both music and lyrics. This release consists of some old songs that never got to be recorded (although they’re known among the band’s public in Israel) and new versions of songs that previous recordings didn’t do them justice. The themes of the songs are both personal and social – shading light on the troubled existence of the individual in our modern world and its expansion to the whole society.
